PETTINA THICKENER
A starch based stabiliser for the production of meat pies etc.
PETTINA THICKENER is a hot process product which to thicken, has to be cooked with the pie filling or gravy.

Thickens well - Does not boil out - Stable

PETTINA INSTANT THICKENER
A stabiliser for fruit pies, based on pre-gelatinised starch. When added to cold water it swells and thickens instantly to a clear gel. It is suitable for use with tinned or fresh fruit and is freeze thaw stable.

Improves fruit appearance and flavour
No breakdown with acidic fruits
Particularly recommended for addition to mincemeat for economical mince pies.
